1. Initial Consultation & Booking
Every session begins with an initial consultation so we can get to know one another. We love to meet over a cup of coffee or happy hour and learn more about you, your story, your goals for the portrait session, and any ideas you might have for decorating your home. At this time we will check our schedules to pick a day that works for everyone. In order to reserve your day, a non-refundable session deposit and a signed contract are required.
2. Creating a Session Plan
Based on our consultation discussion, we will create a plan to make the most of your session - narrowing down the location(s), clothing ideas, and suggestions for any items you might want to incorporate to tell your story.
3. The Session Day
We will meet at the agreed location and time and begin your session. Our approach is to go at a comfortable pace and help you feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera. We want to capture beautiful photos and we want you to have fun in the process!
4. Photo Viewing
The photos have been taken, individually retouched with love and care, and now it's time for you to see the end result of all our hard work and planning. Portrait sessions are typically ready for viewing in 3-4 weeks while weddings are ready in 6-8 weeks. At this time you will receive an on-line gallery to view and share your images and we can schedule an in-home ordering session where we can answer questions about our handcrafted heirloom products.
